Energy Plus Water Filter

The Energy Plus Water Filter system is a new approach to water filtration giving you healthy purified alkaline water without the water wastage or acidifying effects of reverse osmosis systems.

The Energy Plus Water Filter system is a four stage cartridge system that has been specially designed to remove a wide range of contaminants to give you highly purified water which is then alkalised and ionized.

To date one of the few ways you could get purified water of most contaminants was to use a reverse osmosis filtration system. However reverse osmosis systems waste a lot of water (typically up to 50%) and leave the water with an acidic pH. The filtration system uses a multi-step process to remove contaminants giving you healthy drinking and cooking water.

They Energy Plus Water Filter system gives a high rate of removal of most contaminants including chlorine, fluoride, lead and other heavy metals, hardness, nitrate, bacteria, viruses, cysts and dissolved organic contaminants such as benzene, pesticide residues and THM’s.

The Energy Plus Water Filter System is a compact system that sits easily under your kitchen sink (you do not require a storage tank). It comes complete with an attractive filtered water faucet which you fit adjacent to your sink. It is easy to fit. Just connect the filter to the existing feed pipe to your cold water tap and then connect the pipework supplied from the filter to the drinking water tap.

The Energy Plus Water Filter has got four Cartridges which require to be changed. The first cartridge the Ultrafiltration membrance should be changed every 3 years, the remaining 3 changed annually. They are;

1. An ultrafiltration membrane cartridge. This cartridge filters down to 0.1micron and removes silt, rust, bacteria, viruses and cysts from the water.
2. The second stage filter has multiple steps. Firstly it removes fluoride from the water using a combination of absorption and chemical reaction with the filtration media. This media is of uniform particle size is physically stable and can be used over a wide pH range. In addition to having a high affinity for Fluoride this media will also remove arsenic and lead. Next the water passes through a bed of media made of a special high purity alloy blend of two dissimilar metals. The media bed causes oxidation reduction reactions. In particular chorine present in the water is oxidised as it passes through this media bed. Then the water flows through a bed Ion exchange resins which reduce hardness in the water and remove heavy metal ions. After this the water passes through a bed of activated carbon which effectively absorbs organic contaminants such as pesticide residues present in the water.
3. The third cartridge comprises an alkaline ionizing stage. The filtered water passes through a bed of calcium media balls which alkalise and ionize the water and increase the pH. Then the water passes through a special blend of far infrared mineral balls. Far infrared energy is extensively used in the Far East because of its therapeutic properties. As the water passes through this special media bed the water ‘picks up’ this beneficial energy.
4. The final cartridge has a combination of more alkaline minerals, more far infrared minerals and a special grade of activated carbon to help remove any unpleasant taste or odours from the water giving you water that is clean, fresh, energised and healthy.

The unique combinations of membrane filtration and special media filtration gives you a high performance filtration system that removes a huge range of contaminants. Then the water is  alkalized and energised giving you clean healthy water.
