Senior Accounts Administrator
Water-for-Health are looking for a part-time Senior Accounts Administrator to join our team and support the business through an exciting period of development.
We are a family-owned and run ecommerce supplier of water filtration systems, health products and wellness solutions, committed to improving our customers' health and wellbeing through quality products and exceptional service.
We are offering a rewarding opportunity for an experienced accounts professional to take a leading role in managing our financial operations, from day-to-day transaction processing through to monthly and year-end reporting. You will be working alongside a friendly and helpful team in a supportive environment. Our accounting systems and processes are already well-established, so the role focuses on maintaining and following through with existing procedures. This role is for a minimum of 8 hours per week; however, for the right candidate seeking additional hours, we have the flexibility to include further responsibilities and expand the role accordingly.
Applicants for this role must have substantial experience with accounts administration, understanding of managing multi-currency transactions, stock valuation, and producing detailed management accounts. The successful candidate will have strong experience with accounting software (ideally SAGE), payroll processing, and a thorough understanding of UK VAT and financial reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process supplier invoices and manage payments in multi-currency
• Post and reconcile bank transactions, credit cards, and online payment platforms
• Monitor and adjust stock values including duty and freight charges to ensure accurate inventory valuation
• Prepare and submit monthly and end of year payroll returns
• Produce detailed monthly management accounts
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns to HMRC
• Complete year-end processes including posting journals, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and preparing draft financial statements
• Liaise with external accountants and suppliers

• Strong technical accounting expertise with commitment to continuous development
• Proven experience with SAGE (or similar) accounting software and HMRC payroll tools

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per year pro rata depending on experience.
