  • One cup organic almonds
  • 15-20 cup organic Medjool dates

Start by soaking your almonds in water overnight. This is called activating your nuts and will help make them easier to break down in the digestive system. It also makes them easier to blend! Rinse them well and leave them to dry for about four hours.

When they've dried, add them to a food processor or high-speed blender and blend until they're chopped into fine pieces. Take the pits out of the centre of 15-20 dates and slowly add them to the food processor.

Dates are sticky, so the mixture will need to be pushed down from the side of the appliance from time to time. Add the pink Himalayan salt and blend together. Scoop the mixture out and form them into balls or bars and store them in an airtight container for the perfect snack!
